Last Rites were held in the
Shannon Funeral Chapel Friday
morning for Mrs. Cynthia Jane
Bennett, 83, a resident of Empire
for eighteen years, who died at
her home Wednesday. Rev. M. S.
Frantz officiated. Internment was
in the Citizen's cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett was the mother of
Charles Bennett and Mrs. Susa
Mann of Empire and Mrs. Dillie
McGuire of Springdale, W. Va. and
a sister of Mrs. Rachel Bennett,
Mrs. Julia Sannar, and Mrs. Susan
Fleshman of Wallowa, Ore., Mrs.
Jennie Tyree of Scarborough, W.
Va., and John Carper of Promise,
Ore.
