James E. Binder
James Edward Binder, 74, retired Portland Traction Co. employe, died Sunday at his home in Nahcotta, Wash.
He had been employed by the traction firm for 42 years and was a member of Streetcarmen's Union, Local 757.
Survivors include his widow, Ivah, Nahcotta; a son, Lawrence, Portland; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Boyce, Portland; three brothers, Albert, Roy and George, all of Hays, Kan.; two sisters, Margaret Wannamaker, Vancouver, Wash., and Mabel DeVeny, Portland; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Little Chapel of the Chimes. Burial will be in Riverview Abbey.
