Gospel Herald - Volume LXII, Number 8 - February 25, 1969 - pages 191, 192 Dettweiler, Isaiah, was born at Bloomingdale, Ont., Dec. 29, 1888; died at the South Waterloo Hospital, Jan. 12, 1969; aged 80 y. 14 d. On Nov. 20, 1918, he was married to Lucinda Bechtel, who died June 19, 1960. Surviving are 8 children (Harold, Clarke, Glen, Ward, Norma, Mrs. Margaret Good, Mrs. Mary Sayer, and Mrs. Ruby Roth), one brother (Norman), and one sister (Mrs. Nancy Kinsie). He was a member of the Breslau Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 15, with Laurence Martin and Horace Cressman officiating.(NOTE: Several corrections have been made to the original obituary)
