Obituary:
CHARLES B. WATTERS SR., 90, of 409 Maple Ave. died at 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, 1982, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, from burn injuries received April 17. (Story on Page 1.) Mr. Watters retired as a car trimmer from the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1958, after 48 years' service. He was born Feb. 29, 1892, in Altoona, the son of William and Anetta (Smith) Watters, and July 30, 1913, in Altoona, married Florence L. Hudson. Surviving are his wife, three children: C. Blair Jr. of Juniata, Milton R. of Juniata Gap and Mrs. Alice Hartzer of Marion, Ohio; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Margaret E. Burns, died April 5, 1982. Mr. Watters was the oldest member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.

WATTERS - Services for Charles B. Watters Sr. of 409 Maple Ave. will be held at 10 a..m. Monday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Kermit Shrawder. Interment in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
