J. MORELAND WATTERS
Of Juniata Gap, Box 234, RD 4, died at 12:50 a.m. today, May 9, 1978, in Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Watters retired as foreman of the Parks Poultry Farm, Juniata Gap, in 1974, following 50 years' service. He was born Oct. 24, 1908, in Altoona, a son of William Henry and Anna May (Tanneyhill) Watters, and married Lillian Edith Larson. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Dolores Baker of Juniata Gap; four grandchildren and a brother and sister, Charles B. and Mrs. Margaret Burns of Altoona. Mr. Watters was a member of the Mardorf United Methodist Church, Juniata Gap. Friends will be received from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.
WATTERS – Services for J. Moreland Watters of Juniata Gap, Box 234, RD 4, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Kermit Shrawder. Interment in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to time of services Thursday in the funeral home.
