First wife of William H. Watters. Mother of Charles Blair Watters and Margaret E. (Watters) Stains Burns.

Obituary:
MRS. ANNETTA WATTERS
Her Death Occurred at the Family Residence, Fairview
—Saturday morning, as the clock was nearing the hour of 6, Mrs. Annetta Watters, wife of W.H. Watters, of 404 Oak avenue, passed to her reward. For some months past her heart caused her great trouble, but the immediate cause of her death was a pulmonary hemorrhage which lasted nearly four hours. Every effort was made to relieve her suffering and save her life, but all failed. During the last hours of her sickness two physicians were in attendance, but in spite of their skillful efforts she passed away in the presence of both. She was born in Logan township, Blair county, January 8 1868, and was 34 years, 4 months and 2 days old at her death. Her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Abednego Smith still survive her, besides three brothers, Martin L., Harry and Blair, all of Logan township. On April 17, 1890, she was married to William H. Watters, to which happy union two bright children were born, Charles and Margarette, who are now without a dear mother. She was a good parent, an affectionate and loving wife, a respected neighbor and loved by all who knew her. Funeral service this afternoon in the Fairview Methodist Episcopal church, of which she was a consistent member. Interment in the Fairview cemetery.
