John Michael Thomason passed away in Kansas City, MO on January 13, 2018 at the age of 70.
John is survived by his children, brother in law, nieces and grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Martin Thomason, and sister, Ruth Ellen Packett.
John was born on December 11, 1947 in Altus, Oklahoma to Mildred (Webb) and Dr. George Thomason. He graduated from MU in 1970 with a degree in History. John was married to Ramona Cameron, from June 1971-78. John had many jobs and many adventures throughout his life, from identifying types of mosquitoes to building a home almost completely by himself. He survived Hurricane Katrina, living in the Superdome for a week.
Graveside services are set for 10:30 AM Monday, January 22, 2018 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens (Revelations Mausoleum). In lieu of flowers, please make donations in John's name to Alzheimer's Association of Kansas City.
