Funeral services were held for Mrs. Della Drucilla Weeks McKowen, 98, who died Thursday of last week in a Salt Lake hospital after a fall in her home.

Mrs. McKowen was born March 12, 1867 in Troy, Vt. to Edwin G. and Elizabeth Jane Hadlock Weeks. She married John McKowen February 2, 1891 in Vernal. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. McKowen died February 10, 1953.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Colton, Sandy; Mrs. Marion (Gertrude) Mitchell, Mrs. Mervin (Nettie) Bolton, Bennett, Duchesne County; Mrs. John (Mary) Bolton, Roosevelt; Mrs. Gordon (Katie) Mitchell, Orem; one sisters, Mrs. Fannie Collett, Salt Lake City; 36 grandchildren, 120 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery.
