Services for Laura Mae Pitts will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 17, 2017, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with her grandson Adam Pitts officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens in Woodworth.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until time of service on Friday, November 17, 2017, at the funeral home.
Laura Mae Pitts, 95, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Landmark Nursing Home of Baton Rouge.
Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Horace M. Pitts; parents, William Jennings Strange and Ivah Dunn Strange; two sisters and five brothers; one son, Robert Michael Pitts; two daughters, Frances Ann Pitts and Lela Carol Pitts; and one granddaughter, Stacey Lynn Brown.
Laura was employed by Sears for over 20 years and was a volunteer at the Shepherd Center in Alexandria and at Friendship House.
