Mrs. William (Lillian) Strawsburg

WOODSBORO- Mrs. Lillian Irene Strawsburg, 80, of near Woodsboro, died unexpectedly Monday at her home.

Born April 14, 1902 near Libertytown, she was the daughter of the late Issac E. and Mary Snyder Smith. Her husband, William H. Strawsburg, died 34 years ago.

Mrs. Strawsburg was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frederick.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Cramer of Walkersville; a son, Kenneth L. Strawsburg near Woodsboro; a foster daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Hagan of near Woodsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Stitely of near Woodsboro, and Mrs. Catherine Castle of Troutville; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and three foster grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Woodsboro Funeral Home of D. D. Hartzler. The Rev. Burnis D. Barrett, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Cemetery near Libertytown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
