Lloyd H. Baker Jr age 85 of Laurel, IN passed away Nov. 3, 2017. He was the loving husband of Christine McQueen Baker whom he married June 15, 1951 in Metamora, IN and shared over 66 years of marriage.

Lloyd was a retired factory worker, 37 years, from Ford in Connersville but his lifelong occupation was farming. Born Apr. 30, 1932 in Madison County, KY, he was a son of the late Florence Isaacs and Lloyd H. Baker Sr. He was a member of the United Auto Workers and the Family Worship Center in Rushville.

In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by his Children, James Lloyd Baker of Laurel, Cathy (Mrs. Mike) Robinson of Connersville, Larry Baker of Batesville and Lori (Mrs. Doug) Thurston of Shelbyville; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Also surviving his Sisters, Evelyn (Mrs. John) Barnes of Laurel, Geneva Baker of Laurel, Betty Atwell of Connersville and Brothers, Jesse Baker of North Carolina and Charles (Alice) Baker of North Vernon, IN.

Preceding him in death was a sister Reba Eldridge.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Tuesday Nov, 7, 2017 at the Family Worship Center 139 N. Spencer St. Rushville, IN 46173 with Pastor Darryl Cooper officiating.
