Survivors include his wife, Bea Burns of New Boston, Texas, one daughter, Teresa Burns of New Boston, Texas, one son, Donald Burns of New Boston, Texas, two brothers, Homer Burns of New Boston, Texas, Dow Burns of New Boston, Texas, one sister, Rosie Shirley of Texarkana, Texas, three grandchildren, Kristen Ray, Cory Burns and Don Burns, all of New Boston, Texas, five great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017 in the Bates Rolf Chapel, New Boston with Rev. Jimmy Ramsey officiating. Interment will be in Pulaski Cemetery, New Boston.
