Gladie Mae Hull, 88, formerly of Hightown died Sunday morning, June 21 1989 in Oak Lea Nursing Home in Harrisonburg. She was born March 31, 1901 at Hightown, a daughter of the late Henry Morgan and Sara Etta Rexrode Hevener. She was a member of the Hightown United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sister Margie Bird of Hightown, with whom she made her home before entering the nursing home and Cora Hull of Harrisonburg Her husband, Elzey P. Hull died in 1956. She was also preceded in death by four sisters Jennie Sampson, Maggie Van Reenan, Edna Hevener, and Mary Etta Hevener, and two brothers, George P. Hevener and Roy H. Hevener. Her body was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2 in the Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Gibson.
