Opal Hilton Smith, born April 10, 1924, left us on March 13, 2007, to be with her beloved husband, Red Smith; and son, Corkey Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Buck Smith and Rocky Smith; daughters, Peggy Fleming, Sonya McSwain, Debbie Jo Garey, Coni Veroneau and Rita Hartington; and sisters, Doris Barnett and Derlia Meyers. She also left many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
"She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed."
A graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 2 p.m.Friday, March 16 at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
