Derlia C. Myers, 93, passed away at the Elderwood Health Care at Birchwood, Liverpool, Monday, May 6, 2013. Derlia was born June 28, 1919 in Baker, FL, the daughter of Dennis and Josephine Hutre Hilton. She graduated from local schools in Florida. Derlia married Clyde E. Myers in Alabama on October 5, 1945. Clyde predeceased her in 2001. Derlia worked for General Electric Company for 25 years. Derlia is survived by a daughter, Sylvia (Philip) Crouse, Hastings; two sons, Howard (Margaret) Folmer, Lake Forest, CA and Edward (Rosemarie) Myers, Cicero; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris (Lyman) Barnett, Ft. Wilton, FL and several nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Watson Funeral Home, 631 South Main Street, Central Square, NY. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2013 at the funeral home, with Reverend J. Michael Thesier officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Mallory, NY. Contributions may be made to the in memory of Derlia.
