Mrs. Mary A. Dees, for many years a resident of Gonzales County, died in San Antonio Thursday after a brief illness. The remains were brought in on the G. H. & S. A. Train Friday afternoon and from this city will be carried to the Coe burying ground near Monthalia, where the interment will be made tomorrow morning.

The decedent was well known and highly esteemed and for a number of years has been residing near Oak Forest, the Dees home being two miles northeast of that place.
