BANCROFT - Anna Olive Hogan Hatch, 92, died Sunday evening in Hyde Park, Utah at the home of her son.
She was born July 24, 1887 at Richmond, Utah to Nels J. and Mary Josephine Bergeson Hogan. She married Ammon C. Hatch February 22, 1922 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died October 21, 1967. She was educated in the Idaho Schools. She had resided in Richmond, Utah and Hatch, Chesterfield, and Bancroft.
She was a member of the Bancroft LDS Ward. She had served in many positions in the Church: president of the Young Ladies MIA, Stake Sunday School and Primary boards. She had served a full time mission in northern California and had been active in the Relief Society.
Survivors include four sons and one daughter, Vera Bartlett, Smithfield, Utah; William (Bill) Hatch, Hyde Park, Utah; Joseph H. Hatch, South Jordan, Utah; A. Paul Hatch, Bancroft; Ansel Hatch, Sheraton, Montana; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ervin B. Hogan, Bend, Oregon; Merle Hogan, Redmond, Oregon; Hyrum Hogan, Jacksonville, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, six brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Chesterfield LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
