Eugene Kuhn, 85, July 20, 1930 - Oct. 21, 2015. Eugene "Gene" or "Casey" A. Kuhn, 85, passed away in Vancouver. Gene was born in Kansas to Peter and Josephine as one of 10 children.

He grew up in Hays, Kan., and came to Oregon in 1946, spending most of his life there before moving to Washington with his daughter. He retired as a machinist and enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, camping, woodworking, rock hounding, playing his accordion and harmonicas, and playing games.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, four brothers, four sisters and former spouse.

Gene is survived by his daughter, Connie Kuhn of Vancouver; son, Michael Kuhn and family of Indiana; sister [Zelma Kuhn] of Alabama; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews; and constant canine companion, Lulu.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Hostess House in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Gene's memory to: musicandmemory.org.
