Florence and Luther Dameron were married on May 12, 1929 in Leeton, Henry, Missouri. They had four children together.

Florence Dameron, 96, Windsor, died Wednesday, November 19. 2003, at Windsor Healthcare Center in Windsor.

She was born December 20, 1906, near Clinton the daughter of Abraham Lincoln Brown and Mary Frances (Sampson) Brown.

On May 12, 1929, in Leeton, she married Luther Clay Dameron who died April 22, 1979, three weeks before their 50th wedding anniversary.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Central Missouri State University and taught in elementary schools for 14 years. She was an active member of the Windsor United Methodist Church. the United Methodist Women and the Methodist Quilters. She was also a member of the Petal Pushers Garden Club, Windsor.

Survivors include a son, Luther Dameron, Jr. and wife Ruth Anne, Windsor; three daughters, Rosalie Ann Kolster and husband, Harvey, Grain Valley, Catherine Jane Kramer and husband, Woody, Marana, Arizona, and Sharon Kay Miller and husband, John, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Two brothers and six sisters preceded her in death, Buford Brown, Cecil Brown, Zella Wilson, Ocie Thomas, Lizzie Scott, Bessie Robbins, Ruby Willard and Ethel Burch.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 23, 3 p.m. at the Windsor United Methodist Church with Rev. Gail Danley, M. Div. officiating. Burial will be in Carpenter Cemetery.
