MADISON — Services were today in Rice Lake for Susie F. Shultz, 94, formerly of Long Lake, who died Wednesday in Madison.
Susie Coleman was born in Seven Mile Creek township, and married Calvin Shultz in Long Lake in 1909. They farmed in the town of Long Lake, retiring to Madison in 1940.
Survivors include three sons, Howard, Darrell, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Levi, Rice Lake; two daughters, Dorothy Roatch, Leona Ophine, both of Madison; three sisters, Ada Nieman, Ella Coleman, Nellie Soholt, all of Rice Lake; and 30 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Burial was in Long Lake Cemetery.
