Pauline Bollig, age 97, passed away February 22, 2015. Pauline was born October 14, 1917, in Hyacinth, Kan., to Andrew and Barbara (Kuhn) Pfeifer and was united in marriage to Wendelin Bollig on August 29, 1938.

The Bollig's moved from Kansas to Council Bluffs around 1941 and raised their family here. Pauline was a longtime member of Corpus Christi-Holy Family Church and their Altar & Rosary Society and NARVRE.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and John Gier; husband, Wendelin "Whitey" Bollig; son, Kenneth Bollig on January of 2014; two grandsons, Daniel and David Haus; four brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include daughter, Marilyn Haus (Dan), of St. Louis, Mo.; son, Don Bollig (Sharon); daughter-in-law, Connie Bollig, all of Council Bluffs; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren.

Holy Family Altar & Rosary Society, Rosary, Thursday, 3 p.m., Holy Family Church Rosary 6 p.m., followed by visitation until 8 p.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi-Holy Family Church. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery followed by a luncheon back at church. Family will direct memorials.
