George Thomas "Tom" Henshaw, born September 24, 1884 Estillfork, Jackson County, Alabama, was the son of Robert Tribble Henshaw and Isabelle (Putman) Henshaw.

He married Carrie Maxie Collins, May 10, 1902, Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. Carrie, daughter of Wilson Lee "Bob" Collins and Martha Elizabeth (Bean) Collins, was born July 1, 1886, Estillfork, Jackson County, Alabama.

Their children: Ollie May, Ora Clarence, Stella Viola, Lella Lucy, Robert Howard, Beulah Martela, and Mary Vivian

Carrie died January 11, 1947, Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. She is buried alongside her husband, "Tom".

"Tom" then married Amanda E. Johnson, November 4, 1948, Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. Amanda was born October 20, 1894 and died March 23, 1985. Amanda is also buried in the Henshaw Cemetery.
