Last Rites Held At Pleasant Hill For Mrs. Pearl Little
Mrs. Pearl Little, aged 72 years, and a lifelong resident of the county, passed away Monday afternoon following a lengthy illness. She was a member of one of the county's best families and had enjoyed the respect and love of many friends and loved ones.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from Pleasant Hill church, Rev. B. E. Phillips was assisted in the service by Rev. Guy Little, of Pinola. Music was furnished by Mrs. J. N. Little.
Survivors are the husband, Mr. Charner Little and the following children; Mrs. Silas Lee, Pinola; Hoyt Little, Pinola; Mrs. Ray Owens, Jackson; P. B. Little, Jackson; Mrs. Phillip Bass, Jr., Pinola; Willie Little, Pinola; Mrs. Taft Richardson, Mt Olive; Mrs. Bill Kennan, Port Arthur, Tex., and Pfc. James Troy Little of Camp Rucker, Ala.
Burial services were under direction of the Johnson Funeral Home, of Mendenhall. The following were chosen as active pall bearers; Paul Little, Joe Little, Robert Berry, Wilkin Mangum, Claude Allbritton and Kenneth Little.
Honorary pall bearers were; S. T. Berry, R. R. Little, J. N. Little and Hope Little.
