Charles Adamson Is Buried In Willow Twp.
Bayard--Charles Adamson, a former resident of the Bayard community, died suddenly Monday morning, July 16, after visiting with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs Edwin Adamson, until late Sunday evening.
Charles had been in declining health for several years due to a heart attack he had about 10 years ago. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Thomas and Leanna Adamson and was born near Bayard in 1883.
Final rites were held from the Baptist church in Perry Wednesday afternoon, July 18, with burial in the Willow township cemetery. He is survived by his wife and two sons and two daughters, Dwain of Perry, Oliver of Des Moines, Mrs Nadine Stowers, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs Trella Scott, Des Moines, four brothers, Edwin of Bayard, Ora and Norval of Echo, Minn., and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs Karl Shirbroun and Mrs Richard Huffaker prepared a supper for the relatives and friends who attended the funeral service.
This group included Mr and Mrs Ora Adamson, Mr and Mrs Norval Adamson of Echo, Minn., Mr and Mrs Estel Adamson, Florist, Minn., Mr and Mrs Carl Simkins and Mr and Mrs Sam Jack, Jefferson.
