Trella went to be with the Lord April 25, 2007 at Kavanagh House Hospice West. Services will be 10:30 Am Saturday at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. Friends may call after 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Trella was born November 18, 1912 at home in Bayard, Iowa, to Charles Samuel and Rotha Estelle (Shivvers) Adamson. Nothing was more important to Trella than God and family. She graduated from Scranton High School in 1929. Trella Married Leland Scott November 10, 1940 and raised two children. They moved to Des Moines in 1950 where Trella worked for her husband's TV repair business and later Younkers. They were members of First Federated Church where she was active in J.O.Y. and Circle Women's Association.

Trella is survived by her son, Curtis Scott and wife Pam of Waukee, nine grandchildren and step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leland "Jerry" Scott in 1981 and her daughter Pamela J. Gilbert of Talala, Oklahoma.

Memorials may be directed to VFW and the American Legion.
