On Oct. 21 1886, she was united in marriage to Mr. D.F. Tebbs of Goldendale. To this union was born 7 children (one died in 1903 at age three)., to whom she was devotedly attached: but after a long, patient and lingering sickness, from that dreaded disease, consumption(TB), she passed peacefully away at her home in Goldendale Feb. 14th 1907, just lacking a few days of 41 years of age. She leaves an aged mother, husband, and six children, bereft of a mother's and wife's care. She was a member of Eastern Star and Circle No. 246, who attended in a body, and, after the funeral services conducted by the pastor of the Presbyterian church, at the home, tenderly laid her to rest in the Odd Fellows cemetery, just north of town, to await the resurrection trumpet.
