Cedric McEwen Tebbs was born to Sarah McEwen and Daniel Fouchie Tebbs June 21, 1904. southeast of Goldendale Washington.
He passed away April 25th 1973, one day after being transferred from his Goldendale home to the Cascade Villa Convalescent Center.
Except for the 16 years (1944-1960) when Cedric and his family lived in White Salmon Washington, he resided throughout his life in Goldendale. In 1970 he retired after 26 years of service as engineering technician for the Soil Conservation Districts in Kickitat County. Throughout his life Cedric was closely connected with farming in KLickitat County, he was a member of Wheat Growers. He was also a member of the Goldendale Church of Christ.
Survivors include his widow Anna, of Goldendale, (now deceased)
Also surviving their Brother Cedric are: Abram D. (Abe)Tebbs of Hood River, OR. And Sarah (Nell) Tebbs Lawler of Portland, Oregon. (All now deceased)
Funeral services were held at Knosher Funeral Home Saturday, April 28th, with interment at the IOOF Cemetery in Goldendale.
Pallbearers were G.E. (Bill) Marvel, Frank N. Ward, Henry (Butch) Culver, Cyrus G. Forry, Calvin Linden, and Walt Hamilton.
James Woods, minister of The Dalles Church of Christ officiated.
