Born in Washington, D.C. daughter of the late Charles Ellis Bell Sr. and Marjorie Irene Longerbeam Bell. She is survived by two sisters, Thelma Kirk and Carol Mizerek; one great nephew, Carl "Bubba" Lamb, of Hagerstown, MD with whom she resided, several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Gearing whom she married Dec 16, 1956; nine sisters and one brother.
