Funeral services for James Samuel McGlothlin, 87, of West Raven, Va., who died at his home early Sunday night of an apparent heart attack will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Hurst-Scot Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. Grat Horton and Rev. Albert Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va.
He was a lifelong resident of the Raven area, working for N & W Railroad followed by a vocation of farming. Four sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Pallbearers: Luther Whited, Clyde Richardson, Otis Mutter, Clyde Wilson, Henry Plaster, Jennings Plaster, Jay Birt and Roscoe VanDyke.
Honorary pallbearers: Ralph Horton, Winford Horton, Donald Horton, Larry Horton, Randall McGlothlin, Larry Whited, Jimmy Boyd, Tommy Whited
