Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Sydney, and St. Daniel Parish, Sydney.
Surviving are: her daughter, Shirley Elves of Sidney, British Columbia; her three grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; several sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral was held in the Sacred Heart Church, with Rev. A. O'Connor officiating. Mary Irene (Hearn) Chisholm was laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery.
