Henry Brent Freeman, 78, was laid to rest yesterday afternoon in the Arbor Vitae Cemetery following funeral services in the Jay Chapel. Rev. Cox of the Penecstal Church conducted the services.
The late Mr. Freeman, a resident of Madera for the past 25 years, was laid to rest on his 79 birthday.
Pallbearers were; C.E. Moore; W.E. Whitehead; K.L. Crosson; Herbert Spinks; J.E. Smith and E.C. McCulley.
He is survived by; his widow, Mrs. Gennie Freeman of Madera; five sons; Dave, William, and Jason of Madera; Richard and Henry Freeman of Missouri; seven daughters, Miss La Nell Freeman of Madera, Mrs. Nettie DeBo, Mrs. Clora Bell Crosno and Mrs. Verline Mendoza, all of Madera; Mrs Alberta England of Kerman, Mrs Marie Rowe of Selma and Mrs. Nadine Dailey of Oakland; 34 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
