Obituary:
Stephen H. Watters - Of 104 West Halley street, Mount Union, died at his home Monday. Born in Tell township, Centre county, April 28, 1874, he was a son of Stephen H. and Elizabeth (Varner) Watters. He married Miss Margaret Ann Geissinger of Mill Creek Oct. 2, 1902. They first resided in Altoona and for many years Mr. Watters was employed as a blacksmith for the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Mr. Watters was a member of the Salem Evangelical United Brethren church. Surviving are his widow and the following sons and daughter: Stephen H. Watters, at home, Fred of Mount Union and Mrs. Melvin Woodward of Shade Gap; eight grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jennie Phillips of Mount Union, Mrs. Mary Parsons of Tell township, Mrs. Caroline Parsons of New Philadelphia, O., Mrs. Eliza Bollinger of Mount Union and Isaac Watters of Blacklog and one half-broterh, Lorenzo Watters of Neelyton.
