Mrs. Pierson was born in Waco, Texas. and later moved to Olney with her late husband of 49 years Mr. J. P. Pierson Sr.
Survivors include daughter; Betty Jean McMullin, son; J. P. (Joyce) Pierson Jr., both of Wichita Falls; Granddaughters, Cherrie Stafford of Wichita Falls, Cheryl (Bruce) McPeters of New Braunfels, Texas, Sue Ann Williams of Fort Worth, Sally McMullin of Richardson, Texas; Grandsons, Larry Pratt, Robert (Marge) Pratt both Wichita Falls, Oscar (Sheila) Pratt of Dallas; and a host of great and great great-grandchildren.
