Samuel W. Green 86 formerly of New Paris passed away after a long illness March 13, 2017 at Maple Gardens in Eaton, Ohio. He was born May 3, 1930 in Lincoln Co. Kentucky to John and Lillie Green and lived in New Paris most of his life.

He retired from Johns-Manville as a Millwright.

He was a Sergeant in the Marine Corp. and served in the Korean War.

Sam was a 40 year member of Fellowship lodge 106 F&AM, lifetime member of the V.F.W Kirk Little post 1108, and a 50 year member of the American Legion Post 360.

He is survived by his son Larry (June) Green of New Paris, two grandsons Eric (Brandy) Green of New Paris, Cory Green of San Leandro, CA., three great grandchildren Austin, Ashley, Isabella; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara, twelve brothers and sisters.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
