R.B. "Andy" Anderson, passed away on January 14, 2007 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on April 11, 1920 to Arthur and Clarissa Anderson and raised in Minden, LA.

He married his wife Joyce Ann of 49 years on October 9, 1948 who preceded him in death.

Rufus B. was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.

He graduated from LSU in LA in 1938. He enlisted in 1939 and served 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He retired Chief Petty Officer and as a supervisor from C.C.A.D. after 20 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a good sportsmanship.

He is survived by his sons, Bill A. (Nancy) Anderson, Wayne T. (Deborah) Anderson, Bruce R. Anderson, sisters Elizabeth Barbay, Hattie Mae Norris, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Jan. 16 and 17 and a funeral service was held Jan. 18 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed at Seaside Memorial Park with Military Honors.
