Lorraine M. “Lori” Darger, 77, of Sioux Falls died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington, MN.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, October 24, 2016 At East Side Lutheran Church, 1300 East Tenth St., Sioux Falls. Visitation with the family present will be Sunday from 2-4:00 PM at the church.

Lori was born April 6, 1939 at Chester, South Dakota to Buil and Harriet (Clark) Branson. She grew in the Chester area and graduated from Franklin High School.

She married Elmer Lindstrom and to this union five children were born, Donald, Donna, Debbie, David, and Diane. They made their home in rural Centerville, S. D. Later she moved to Sioux Falls and married Harvey Buskohl, until his death to cancer. She then married William ‘Clair’ Darger on June 19, 1999 and continued to live in Sioux Falls and work on many hobbies together.

Lori worked at Sioux Valley Hospital for eighteen years in numerous positions. She also worked at a daycare for several years as a cook, which she truly enjoyed. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, woodcrafts, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Tate Schreurs, among others.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Clair Darger, Sioux Falls; her children, Donald Lindstrom, Centerville, SD; Donna (Paul) Gurecki, Oak Ridge, TN; Debbie (Bill Russell) O’Hara, Bullhead City, AZ; David (Brenda) Lindstrom, Yuma, AZ; and Diane Lindstrom (Glen Hassebroek), Adrian, MN; eleven grandchildren; Michael, Eric, Kyle, and Hope Lindstrom, Christopher, and Matthew Gurecki, Katelyn Gurecki Smith, Jessica Solbes, Jennifer Nessa, Angel Lindstrom and Dana Schreurs; numerous great grandchildren; Brooklyn and Tate Schreurs among many others, and a brother, Danny Branson, Sioux Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Shirley Stroschein, two brothers, Chuck and Ray Branson, and previous husbands Elmer Lindstrom, and Harvey Buskohl.

Honorary Pallbearers are Lori's grandchildren, great grandchildren and Michael Stevens.
