Porter Olin Corbett, 50, died at his home at Warm Springs Thursday Aug. 11 after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Corbett was barn Oct. 29, 1909 at Mustoe, a son of Mrs. Carrie Kelley Corbett and the late Charles Amos Corbett. He operated the County Seat Service Station at Warm Springs for a number of years. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel C. Corbett a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Jenkins, Warm Springs; five sister, Mrs. Hazel Nicely, Mrs Delia Alexander, Mrs. Barbara Carpenter, Mrs. Joyce Crank, all of Clifton Forge and Mrs. Florence Gutshall of Mustoe; brothers Harper Corbett, Monterey; Glenn Corbett, Mustoe; Willard Corbett and Arlie Corbett, both of Troutville and three grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 14 from the Warm Springs Presbyterian Church by the Rev. R. Daniel Simmons, assited by the Rev. J. Kenneth Andrews. Burial was in Warm Springs Cemetery.
