OBITUARY
MRS. MARY HILL CLAIMED BY DEATH
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Salome Hill, 85, who died Friday, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ on Pearl Street, conducted by the minister, Oscar Ellison. Music was furnished by the choir and burial followed in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons and included Don and Bob Watson, Earl Hill, Freman, Marvin and Forest Castleberry.
Mrs. Hill, widow of Richard Hill, was a native of Alabama, born Feb. 22, 1859, was married in Texas in 1878 and had lived in this state 68 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are the following children, Jim, Milton, Will, Roland and Delbert Hill. Mmes. Altie Castleberry and Eula Coulter, all of Denton, Mrs. Otha Dudley of Olton, and a half brother Walter Wallace of California.
