ROLAND HILL

Roland Hill of 223 W. Mulberry, a lifetime Denton resident, died this morning at 9:15 in Flow Memorial Hospital after an illness of one year. He was 68.

Mr. Hill had owned a sewing machine shop in Denton for 30 years until his retirement.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday in the Wood Street Church of Christ. Paul Phillips, minister, will officiate, assisted by Jack White, minister of Pearl Street Church of Christ. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery under direction of Goen Funeral Home.
Mr. Hill was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his widow: three daughters, Mrs. Don Ellis of Denton; Mrs. Paul C. Kirchner of Lawton, Okla., and Mrs. Hurbert Hancock Jr. of Arlington: a step daughter, Mrs. Charlie Luster of Portales, NM; two step sons, L.H. Richey of Denton and J.W. Richey of Floyd, NM; three sisters, Mrs. Eula Watson of Denton; Mrs. W.B. Castleberry of Lubbock and Mrs. J.N. Dudley of Olton; two brothers, W.T. Hill and Delbert Hill, both of Denton; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
