Richard Hill, Texas Pioneer Dead Here
Richard Hill, 75, a pioneer resident of Texas and 40 years a resident of Denton County, died suddenly with heart disease this morning at 8:30 in his home on South Elm Street.
Surviving are five sons, Jim J., Roland, Will, and Delbert of Denton and Milton Hill, Waco; four daughters, Mrs. Lee Adams, Miami, Arizona., Mrs. Eula Watson, and Mrs Otha Dudley, Olton, Texas and Mrs. Alta Castleberry, Vernon, Texas.
Funeral services will be held in his home, 10:30 A.M. Friday by Rev. J.E. Black, pastor of the Church of Christ of which the deceased was a member. The burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Richard married Mary Elizabeth England 30 Apr 1874 in Morgan County, Alabama. She died about 1875-76. He married Mary Saloma Wallace on 10 SEP 1877 in Jacksboro, Jack, Texas.
