Services for Alton Ray "PopPop" Miller, 91, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Leesville. Burial will follow in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape Hospice House of Lexington 128 Library Hill Lane Lexington, SC 29072. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.

Mr. Miller passed away Wednesday December 21, 2016. Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Tandie and Lillie Sanford Miller. Mr. Miller was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesville and the Spirit Lifters. He retired from Holly Price Cons. Co. and was a Navy Veteran of WW II.

Survivors include his wife, of 66 years, Hazel Perdue Miller, daughters, Sherri (Jerald) Lybrand, Ranie (Anthony) Murrah, and Johnna (Greg, "Possum") Smith, brothers, John Edward and Darrell "Snap" Miller, sister, Betty Oswald, grandchildren, Jared Lybrand, Meghan Blume, Matthew Murrah and Jocelyn Smith, great-grandchildren, Lilly, Ava, Alexis, Cannon, Jorden, Bryce, A. J., Emma, Decker Ray, Addie and Kadence.
