LENA PILKINGTON DIES AT AGE OF 82

Mrs. Lena Pilkington, 82, a native of Bellevile, died at 7 p.m. yesterday at her home in Beckley, W. Va.

Born August 28, 1876, Mrs. Pilkington was a daughter of the late Victor and Caroline Gantner, nee Sattler. Her husband ws Thomas M. Pilkington, who died March 30, 1947.

Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gertrude Pilkington, 500 South High Street, widow of Harry K. Pilkington; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Schlegel, 215 Abend Street, and Mrs. Emma Herman, 500 South High Street; two grandchildren, Robert L. Pilkington of Kirkwood, Mo., and Mrs. Jane McConnell of Los Angeles, Calif., and a great-grandson, Robb L. Pilkington, Kirkwood.

The body is being forwarded to the Gundlach and Company Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held Monday, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery at an hour to be announced later.
