LETHA M. GINGRICH
Mrs. Letha M. Gingrich, 83 of Clarence, died Tuesday, May 4, 1982 at the Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon where she had been a patient for nine days.
She was born in Shelby County, Nov. 14, 1898 the daughter of Greenberry and Nancy (Snow) Griffin.
She was married to Ira Gingrich in 1918. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1958.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thornton (Ruby) Barton, Sr. of Clarence; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lee Griffin, George Griffin and Birch Griffin; and five sisters.
She was a member of the Clarence Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, 1982 at the Greening-Eagan Funeral Home in Clarence. Burial will be in Hagers Grove Cemetery, north of Clarence.
