Six Canton druggists will serve as pallbearers for William E. Brooks, veteran Canton druggist, who died Sunday in his home at 3214 11th St., SW. Serving will be Lester Yarger, Maynard Mast, John Bachellor, Alex Medoff, Lester Schaffner and Emerson Erskine.

Mr. Brooks, 82, had been identified with the drug business 65 years and was the proprietor of several drugstores during his long career. He had been retired in recent years.

He was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, a son of the late James Allison Brooks and Mary A. Painter Brooks. He was twice married. His first wife, Vinnie L. Crowl Brooks died in 1904. His second wife Lillian Garrison Brooks, died in 1960. He is survived by sons Joseph E. (Marjorie) and Walter G. (Wilma) Brooks, and a daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Aline) Adams.
