ANDERSON, S.C. - Mrs. Charline Davis Roberson, 90, of Anderson passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 4 at noon at Shawmut Cemetery.

Mrs. Roberson is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Richard) Masters of Anderson and Kay (E.T. "Butch") Embler of Anderson; her son, James Roy (Suzanne) Roberson of Auburn, Ala.; grandchildren, Lance (Cindi) Masters, Bret B. Masters, Ryan (Kali) Masters, Leigh (Mark) Embler Kennedy, Jason T. Embler, Julie (Chris) Roberson O'Toole and Jennifer (Richard II) Roberson Navickas; 11 great-grandchildren; and special friends, P.J. Ward, Susan Embler, Nancy Hall and David Bowden.

Mrs. Roberson was born Jan. 3, 1926, in Shawmut, Ala., to the late Charlie Henry Davis and Caddie Lee Humphrey Davis. She was retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Roberson was a member of the North Anderson Baptist Church in Anderson and was a former member of the Shawmut First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover G. Roberson Jr.; and a brother, Jesse L. Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her name to North Anderson Baptist Church, 2308 North Main St., Anderson, SC 29621.

Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home of Valley is in charge of arrangements.

Several small mill towns including Shawmut, Chambers County, Alabama were merged to form Valley, Chambers County, Alabama.
