Servies Held
Funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Shawmut Baptsit Church for Charlie H. Davis, 62, who was pronouced dead at the George H. Lamier Memorial Hospital at 11:40 p.m. Friday following a heart attck.
The service was conducted by the church pastor, the Rev. David Bentley, assisted by the Rev. J. H. Kind, pastor of the Shawmut Church of the Nazarene. Burial was in Shawmut Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Caddie Humphrey Davis of Shawmut; a son, Jesse L. Davis of Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Robertson of Shawmut; two brothers, Jack Davis of Arizona and J. B. Davis of Lanett; and fiv grandchildren.
