Marcell Baxter Bailey Williamson, 86, of Erie, died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at The Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center. She was born on October 13, 1919, a daughter of the late Gustave and Alice Matthews Baxter. She was formerly a clerk for the Boston Store and worked as a cook for the Gertrude A. Barber Center. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Newell F. Bailey; her second husband, Thomas Williamson; and sisters and brothers, Alice, Lucille, George, Garald and Gerdell. She is survived by a daughter, Louise Partyka, of Middleburg, Fla.; two sons, Ronald Bailey and his wife, Katherine "Kitty," of Erie, and William Bailey and his wife, Kristen, of San Jose, Calif.; and seven grandchildren, Brian, Gregory, Timothy, Kristen, Jonathan, Macade and Callahan. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
