Douglas L. "Doug" Faulkner, 70 of Coulee City, Washington, passed away at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee on Sept. 25, 2010. He was born on August 27, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles and Dortha (Taylor) Faulkner. Doug grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Brigham Young University. He served in the U.S. Air National Guard. After his honorable discharge he worked for British Motors Cars, Inc. in Seattle, Washington where he was an Upholster. He also worked for The Boeing Aircraft Company in 1976 where he worked in the VIP department customizing jet airplane interiors. He retired in 2003, and moved to Coulee City, Washington with his wife of 34 years Jacqueline Jean (Beyeler). Doug was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" Faulkner, Coulee City; two sons, Lawrence A. Byars, Everett, WA and Donald E. Ariasi, Green Bay, WI; one daughter, Janon Marie Ipsen, Arlington, WA; two step children, Heidy Joann Krauer-Coutu, Seattle and Christopher W. Krauer, Coulee City; two sisters, Carol Floyd, Mona Hewlett, three brothers, Glade Faulkner, Carl Faulkner and Hugh Faulkner and five grandchildren. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Charles, Merrill, Robert, Franklin and infant brother Bill Lee Faulkner.
