Jesse BrownWengreen,81, died 14 Mar 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. He was born 26 Apr 1926 in Arimo, Idaho a son of Carl Arthur and Elva Rosella Brown Wengreen.
Jesse attended McCammon High School and Brigham Young University where he excelled in academics. From 1944-1946, he served faithfully in the United States Navy. On 20 Sep 1946 he married Addie Burrup in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They resided in Pocatello, Idaho for 14 years and then moved to Ogden, Utah in 1960.

Jesse was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, Mount Lewis 5th Ward. He served in many church callings including Elder's quorum president, counselor in the Bishopric, member of the high council, stake executive secretary and high priest. He was president of a local chapter of the Toastmaster Club, an organization that focuses on improving people's communication and leadership skills. Jesse also enjoyed fishing and bowling and was an avid stamp collector. He was a fan of the Ogden Raptors and the Utah Jazz. Jessie retired from America First Credit Union in 1990 where he worked as a branch manager. After retirement, he enjoyed working with his son and daughter at Eagle Eye Cabinets.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
