Thursday at Brister-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian. Burial will be in Clifton Memorial Cemetery. -- Mrs. Steen was born Feb. 9, 1899, in Troy. She married Guy Steen July 22, 1918, at Eastland. They lived in Austin a number of years before moving to Lakeside Village in 1964. She was a member of Meridian Church of Christ. - Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Bill Sexton of Orange; three sons, Newt Steen and Jack Steen, both of Lakeside Village, and Roy Steen of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Nona Kittrell of Lorenzo, Mrs. Gladys Edwards of Lakeside Village and Mrs. Eva Buchanan of Port Neches; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren."
